I know that who I was in the past does not determine who I can become in the future, and I also know that where I came from in the past does not determine where I can go.  Today I know with certainty that anything is possible and that I am in charge of my life and my destiny.

People who truly live like it matters know how to live with congruence between their actions and their life’s purpose.  They know with absolute certainty why they are here.  Their clarity of purpose is what sets them apart from all others.  Today I will make sure that all of my actions and thoughts are aligned with and support my life’s purpose, knowing that congruence will bring me joy.

The restless spirit is a spirit in search of meaning.

It is often times easier for people to believe what they fear than it is to believe what they most desire.  When desire surpasses fear, anything is possible.

The other side of fear is freedom, and so it is with courage that I release all my fears today and accept freedom into my life.

It is impossible for my mind to hold two thoughts at the same time, and so the thought that I have at any given point in time is a result of a choice I’ve made.  Today I choose to hold only positive, loving thoughts in my mind, knowing that I have full control over everything I think.

Today is a brand new day – this day has never come before, yet so many people live each day as though they are all the same.  Today is special and unique, and there will never be another day just like today.  Today I celebrate the beauty of this brand new day!

I watch a bird trying to fly against the wind, and it makes little progress.  I watch a bird fly with the wind, and it soars.  Today I will spread my wings and let the wind carry me so that I, too, may soar.

Today I come from a place of acceptance.  Today I accept all that is in my life – the good, the bad, and all the stuff in between.  Today I accept what I cannot change and accept responsibility for all that I can change.  Today I accept that the path to all that awaits me will challenge me, may confuse me, and yet will bring me great joy.  Today I accept myself just as I am, knowing that I am always under construction and always getting better.

What a joyous feeling it is to be completely rested both mentally and physically!  Today I make taking care of myself my highest priority.
